Datasets

The Sandbox workspace includes two pre-loaded datasets that you can use to explore Studio and create example experiments. These datasets are designed to help you understand how Studio works before uploading your own data.

Belgian Electricity Grid

The Belgian Electricity Grid dataset contains electricity quantity data from the Belgian grid, alongside weather data that can be used as predictors.

This dataset is well suited to Forecast and Causal Links experiments. For example, you can use it to forecast electricity usage over the next 48 hours, or to explore how weather-related predictors are associated with changes in electricity demand.

Gearbox

The Gearbox dataset contains power readings from a gearbox, alongside temperature readings from different areas of the system that can be used as predictors.

This dataset is well suited to Anomaly Detection experiments. It includes temperature spikes that can help demonstrate how Reliable Insights identifies unusual behaviour and highlights potential anomalies in relation to gearbox power readings.
