Capabilities

RI Platform subscriptions are built from a set of product capabilities. These capabilities control which parts of the platform a workspace can use, how much usage is available, and which support options are included.

This page explains the main subscription capabilities available in RI Platform.

Studio

Studio is the interactive modelling and experimentation area of RI Platform.

Studio allows users to upload and manage datasets, create experiments, review model results, and explore forecasting or analytical workflows before using them operationally.

Studio supports experiment types such as Forecast, Anomaly Detection, Causal Links, and Soft Sensors. Eligible completed forecast experiments can also be taken to Pipeline, where they can be mapped to Pipeline feeds and turned into a regular deployment.

When to use Studio

  • Upload and manage datasets for modelling.
  • Run exploratory experiments before productionising a workflow.
  • Review forecast, anomaly, causal-link, or soft-sensor results.
  • Move eligible completed forecast experiments into Pipeline.

Pipeline

Pipeline is the operational forecasting area of RI Platform.

Pipeline supports connecting datasources, creating scheduled data feeds, managing production forecast deployments, and exporting feed data.

Pipeline is designed for repeatable workflows where data is refreshed on a schedule and forecasting results need to be reviewed over time. Users can add datasources, test connections, select source columns as feeds, schedule ingestion, monitor feed status, create deployments, and review deployment results.

When to use Pipeline

  • Connect datasources.
  • Create scheduled feeds from source columns.
  • Monitor feed health and scheduled ingestion.
  • Create and manage forecast deployments.
  • Productionise forecasting workflows.

Connect

Connect allows approved external systems, scripts, and applications to connect to RI Platform programmatically.

API access is managed through RI Connect. Workspaces can create and manage API keys, use scoped access, and review key status. API keys can be used by integrations that need to interact with supported RI Platform API workflows.

API keys should be treated as sensitive credentials. Customers should store them securely, use only the scopes required for each integration, and revoke or rotate keys when access changes.

When to use Connect

  • Connect external tools, applications, or scripts to a workspace.
  • Manage API keys for production, staging, or development workflows.
  • Rotate or revoke credentials when access changes.
  • Use RI Connect API documentation and tools to inspect supported API operations.

User Seats

User seats define how many people can belong to a workspace.

A user seat is a workspace-level allowance for membership. Workspace Owners and Admins can invite users into a workspace, and RI Platform checks whether the workspace has enough remaining seats before sending an invitation.

Seat usage includes current workspace members and pending invitations. If a workspace reaches its user limit, a member will need to be removed or the subscription will need to be updated before more people can be invited.

When to use User Seats

  • Invite teammates into a workspace.
  • Control workspace membership through User, Admin, and Owner roles.
  • Review whether a subscription has enough seats for the team.
  • Plan seat increases before onboarding more users.

Engine Credits

Engine credits are a workspace allowance used for modelling engine work.

Engine credits are used when running supported modelling and forecasting workflows in Studio, or when running Pipeline deployments that require modelling engine usage. They allow a workspace to use the platform’s forecasting engine.

Engine credits are shown in the product sidebar and are tied to the workspace subscription.

When to use Engine Credits

  • Run Studio experiments.
  • Run Pipeline deployments that require modelling engine usage.
  • Track remaining modelling capacity for the workspace.
  • Understand why experiment or deployment creation may be blocked.
  • Decide whether to add engine-credit bolt-ons or change bundle.

Pipeline Credits

Pipeline credits define how many Pipeline feeds can be stored in a workspace at one time.

Pipeline credits are used when users create Pipeline feeds. The interface helps show how many credits are already used, how many feeds are selected in the current add-feed flow, and what the total will be after adding them.

If the workspace has no remaining Pipeline credits and a user wants to add a new feed, they will need to remove an existing feed or increase the workspace allowance.

When to use Pipeline Credits

  • Understand how many Pipeline feeds a workspace can hold.
  • Plan feed creation from a datasource.
  • Resolve Pipeline credit limit messages.
  • Decide whether to remove feeds or increase the allowance.

Workspace Storage

Workspace storage is the workspace-level allowance used by uploaded datasets and stored pipeline data.

Workspace storage is shown in the product sidebar as used storage and total allowance as well as in the storage tab of workspace settings. When data is added to a workspace, RI Platform checks whether the incoming data would exceed the workspace’s remaining storage allowance.

If the storage allowance would be exceeded, the action may be blocked and the user may need to delete unused data or increase the workspace storage allowance.

When to use Workspace Storage

  • Upload datasets into Studio.
  • Store data used by Pipeline workflows.
  • Track how much storage a workspace has used.
  • Diagnose storage-limit messages during dataset creation or data upload.
  • Decide whether to delete data or increase storage.

Dashboarding

Dashboarding is intended to provide visual reporting and monitoring views for workspace data and results.

When available, dashboarding is expected to help users visualise data collected through Pipeline and review changing model performance over time.

Support Calls

Support calls give your workspace access to scheduled support time with Reliable Insights.

A support call is designed to help customers get more value from RI Platform. Support calls can be used to discuss data, review modelling or forecasting questions, understand results, plan workflows, or get guidance on how to use Studio, Pipeline, and workspace capabilities effectively.

Support calls are included with selected bundles or can be added as part of a subscription. The number of available support calls depends on the workspace subscription.

When to use Support Calls

  • Discuss your data or modelling goals with a Reliable Insights Data Scientist.
  • Get guidance on setting up experiments, datasets, feeds, or deployments.
  • Review forecasting or analysis results and understand next steps.
  • Make better use of the capabilities included in your subscription.
